Be respectful and honor boundaries
Treat others with dignity. No harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, hate speech or attacks based on identity or personal characteristics. A refusal or silence is not an invitation to keep pushing. Do not contact someone through another account after being blocked.
Be yourself
Use truthful information and photos you are entitled to share. Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your age, create deceptive identities or falsely claim affiliations or verification. JOVEYA is for adults aged 18 and over.
No exploitation or sexual abuse
Child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, trafficking, sexual coercion and non-consensual intimate content are prohibited. Do not post sexual content involving minors, offer sexual services or send unwanted sexual content. Never share or redistribute suspected child sexual abuse material; report the concern without attaching that material.
Protect privacy and consent
Do not expose another person’s contact details, address, live whereabouts, identity documents or private messages without permission. Ask before posting identifiable photos of other people. Share your own trip details thoughtfully and respect the privacy choices of fellow travelers.
Keep travel plans honest
Describe plans and group expectations accurately. Do not use trips or connections to scam people, solicit deceptive payments, run pyramid schemes or promote illegal activity. Do not present unsafe activities as risk-free. Each traveler is responsible for checking arrangements and local requirements.
No harmful or unlawful content
Do not promote violence, terrorism, dangerous wrongdoing or the sale of illegal goods. Do not encourage self-harm or target vulnerable people for abuse. Do not post content that infringes intellectual property rights or use spam, scraping or automation to disrupt the community.
Meet with care
Use your judgment before meeting or traveling with someone. Prefer a public place for a first meeting, tell someone you trust about your plans and keep control of your money, documents and transport. A profile or compatibility suggestion is not a background check. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services; JOVEYA support is not an emergency response service.
Report, block and ask for help
Use the available report and block options on a profile, message or trip, or contact support@joveya.app with relevant details. Do not send passwords or unnecessary private information. Avoid making knowingly false or retaliatory reports. If you cannot use the app, the Support page remains available without an account.
How we respond
Depending on the issue and its severity, JOVEYA may remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, suspend an account or close it. Serious harm may lead to immediate action. Relevant information may be preserved for investigation or disclosed where legally required. You can appeal through an available in-app option or by contacting support. Repeated violations and attempts to evade enforcement may lead to further restrictions.
Updates
These Guidelines are part of the Terms of Service. We may update them as the service and safety needs change, displaying the new version and effective date and communicating material changes as appropriate.
